Year-end Top Ten
I really resent top ten lists. I'd rather make a list that included non-chart releases from the year, like a "top ten records you discovered this year". Don't you think such a list would be more inclusive? Anyway, Justin asked me to submit my top ten to CMJ, so I was forced to come up with a more typical list. In it, I tried to represent the indiepop community, the North American Pacific coast, and Victoria. Here it is, unordered as requested by CMJ:
